The ECU Club pirates swept the UNC W Seahawks 3-0 during their series at JH Rose HS in Greenville, NC February 29 – March 1. Although the temperature and sky conditions were very similar to those encountered yesterday (see previous post) there wasn’t much wind for most of the day so it was so much warmer – and the kingdom rejoiced!
Jobu was good to the pirates and the ECU bats were alive and drove in, according to my count, 45 runs in 3 games. Coach Fox had the guys running a lot this weekend as well – a strategy that provided a lot of scoring opportunities and runs.
Although the Seahawks were often down, they certainly were not out. I admired how most of the team played hard, but also had fun, joking with each other and often laughing at themselves – you’re right guys – it’s a game, a great game, but a game where you should have fun.
I shot over 3,600 shots and it will take some time to edit and post. I hope to start editing Tuesday 3 March. Galleries will be posted on my site at www.richardlmillerphography.com under Sports, Baseball, ECU.
Remember, that it will generally take me several weeks before I’ve posted a large selection of photos from any game (time depends on my shooting schedule) – send me and email if you’d like me to post certain photos. Without guidance as to what you’d like to see I generally post a somewhat “random” selection of action plays and field “activities” and may never get to that awesome photo that you’d love to have.
