May 25 – Thank you all members of the military, past and present, for your service.
It’s important to take pause today and reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by the countless men and women in the military so that we can enjoy the many blessings of this country. Memorial Day should not be about going to the beach or cashing in on some great weekend sale but should be a time when we are all humbled by their service and for many, the ultimate sacrifice that one can give for their country. Memorial Day is a day to remember and honor fellow Americans.
I can only hope that their sacrifices will not be in vain and that our democracy and general way of life will be preserved for many years to come.
I hope that everyone has a memorable and safe Memorial Day. Take a moment to think about what sacrifice you can make to help make American better.
