June 29 – Seems like a lifetime ago.
As we quickly approach another holiday that typically means baseball to me, I sit staring at the computer screen and reminiscing about days (years) gone by. I especially miss being around club baseball and the Daredevils when they played on the Outer Banks. Good times, good games, great guys.
So I’ve been going through some of my club baseball pics. Here is one of my all time favorites – a photo of ECU’s ace starter Tanner Duncan. The photo captures Tanner watching the final outs after he pitched another good game.
Tanner and his family are, as they say, “salt of the Earth.” Good people. I have to thank them for giving me some mighty good memories – always brings a smile to my face. We all need that. Especially during times like these.
Until next post, be safe, be kind.
