August 5 – A hard wind’s gonna blow.
Isaias has come and gone. The center of the circulation based a little to the west of us. So we were on the northeast quadrant. Always taught my students that the NE quadrant was the worst because on storm surge. Fortunately, Isaias moved through very quickly – I mean it was booking.
Here’s a brief video after the sun came up. Remember, these winds were a “low” TS at this time. Imagine what a major Hurricane would be like.
