Daily sports photo #296

March 24: There’s a first time for everything.

First time shooting tennis for a very, very, very long time – maybe when I was in high school. I enjoy watching the sport and shooting it is certainly challenging.

Shooting a high school match was very nonlinear for me – six games going on at the same time. Hard to follow the score.

I tried to walk along the baseline and get shots of all the players. Tennis is one of those high school sports absent of cheerleaders and usually absent of fans (except for parents of course). I admire the kids going out there and just playing the game.

It looks like this player is releasing the ball as it was a fragile butterfly. Or that’s what it looks like to me.

Until next post be safe, be kind, and try something new today. Who knows, it may become your favorite.
