April 30: Young at heart.
Baseball is a game. Games are supposed to be fun. Fortunately, I’m closed to the action both within and beyond the lines. And I get to see AND hear a lot of “fun.”
A tradition is that the shortstop and second baseman do a “routine” after the throw-down from the Cather after the pitcher has warmed up at the start of a half inning.
The Emmanuel College kids did the standard hand slapping but then posed as if taking a selfie. After several innings the umpire decided to photobomb them.
There are a LOT of kids in baseball.
Until next post be safe, be kind, and go have some fun and be a kid.
