September 29: All gone in a blink of an eye.
I went and shot my first Middle School football game of the season. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. Earlier, a front had passed through the area and the air was cool and crisp. Just perfect for football.
I do enjoy shooting Middle School sports. I think that the level of competition is quite good and it’s hard to find more enthusiastic kids.
But today as I shot my typical “sports portraits,” I noticed how young these kids are, or at least how young they look. Mein Gott, I mean they look like, well, kids!
I know that their parents would like them to stay this way forever. I know that I did. Fortunately, there is a way for that to happen.
Hint: photos freeze time and kids will always be who they were/are on that day a great photo was taken. Starry-eyed kids with their future in front of them.
Until next post be kind, be safe, and stay forever young.
