October 23: Wow, what a concept.
Yes, what a concept, photographing a football game during the day, in Light!!! ISO 100 baby!!!
The word “photography” literally means “drawing with light”. The word is derived from the Greek words phōtós meaning “light”, and graphê meaning “drawing or writing”.
So if LIGHT is the cornerstone of photography, why must we take photos in cave-like gyms or coal-like nights on the football fields?
Broke my main cardinal rule today – don’t get up early, just to photograph a football game in the light, a Middle School football game.
Although it was certainly Bah Humbug to the early morning, I must say that it was nice having phōtós to graphê with.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, and it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
I agree with God, light is good.
Until next post be kind, be safe, and enjoy the light.
