October 30: It’s the eve of All Hallows’ Eve.
Remember before the pandemic? Back to the time when it was safe and customary to travel. I’ve been very fortunate to travel most of the world. I love traveling to other countries and observe the culture and traditions and of course, take photos.
Well, this time in 2017 I was in Tainan, Taiwan. I was very surprised when the area where I was staying (National Cheng Kung University) cordoned off several streets for a major Halloween festival. There were booths, food trucks, and carts with crafts and many, many, people were dressed up in some amazing costumes.
I was able to get a lot of great photos that day. Not of traditional asian culture, but of another part of the world celebrating Halloween.
A great time indeed and some fond memories.
Until next time, be safe, be kind and have a good Halloween, not mater where you are in the world.
