Try new things, get out of your comfort zone.

November 1: A runner never got to second by always standing on first.

As I mentioned in the last post, it’s playoff time for fall sports at the local schools. And as planned, I made it to the First Flight soccer match against Rocky Mount.

Playoffs are a special time so I decided to try something special. I wanted to get even more “awesomer” photos to document the game. I wanted to try something new, something that I had never done before.

So I set up a remote camera behind the goal. I got there very early as it takes some time to set the camera up. I take a shot using two radio triggers – one on the camera to control the shutter and one that I held while working around with the other two cameras that I used during the game.

It was a three camera setup. A lot of balls up in the air as they say.

All-in-all I got a few keepers and I’m already thinking about how to do it better.

Until next time, be safe, be kind and try something new.
